Class Title: Create a Zine! (Middle School)

Ages: 10-13

Minimum 5 students, Maximum 10 students

Duration: 2 Hours, 1 Day

Thursday, August 8, 10:30am-12:30pm


Love the world of comics and have a story idea of your own? This class will guide you through the steps on how to make your own 4 page mini comic from the stories you want to create. The teacher will go through the basics of how to format a comic; learn the process from thumbnail, sketch, and finished drawing. Students will be provided all the supplies to illustrate their own story that will be assembled at the end of the week into a coptic-stitch book. Students will be able to choose from an assortment of pre-made book covers that they will be helped with assembling so they can take home their stories with them. Find out the techniques behind markers and pens to make your stories and characters come to life through demos.
$20 members, $25 non-members
