Greeting Card Printmaking Workshop: Carving Stamp
Friday, December 5, 1-2pm
Pre-registration required, 10 students maximum

Carve a stamp to decorate greeting cards or holiday decorations. Participants will design an image or word art, copy that image in reverse onto their future stamp, then carve out their image. This class extends into the printmaking party that follows! No previous printmaking experience necessary; does include handling sharp carving tools.

Students are invited to stay for the Printing Greeting Cards drop-in workshop that follows on Friday, December 5, 2-4pm (stay some or all of the time to make more greeting cards with your hand made stamp and more:

About the Instructor

Vanessa Rae Brocato is an artist, facilitator, and gardener in Southwest Michigan. She makes bold and dreamy watercolor paintings, marker drawings, and block prints. She often includes print-making demonstrations and DIY greeting card stations in her booth at art fairs and other events.
