After School Art Workshop for grades from 6th to 12th grade.

Every Monday, young artists are invited to make art, explore new materials, and create at their own pace. A new special project will be offered each week.

Bio: Vanessa Rae Brocato is an artist, facilitator, and gardener in Southwest Michigan. She practices watercolor painting, marker drawing, and block printing, as well as growing and working with botanical dyes. She combines vibrant colors and imaginative reflections of nature with personal iconography for works of earthy whimsy. Her formal training includes studio arts, art history, and education at the Lorenzo de’ Medici International Institute, Florence, Italy, and Bradley University, Peoria, IL. She also holds a juris doctorate (human rights focus) from Georgetown University Law Center, Washington, DC. Drawing on years of experience as an educator and facilitator in diverse settings, she loves creating space for people to explore their creativity and build skills that support their creative expression.
